I have been in the finance industry for the better part of a decade, while Affinity Mortgage, the lender I work for, has been in business for going on 17 years! Both me and Affinity have been through various different economic times from the booms of the early 2000’s to the bust during the financial crisis of 2008, to now the recovery period after the Great Recession. This has allowed me to see the good, the bad and the ugly in this industry. Underwriting has changed drastically in the last decade, you need to make sure that your Mortgage Loan Officer has adapted to all this change, and is always out ahead of the curve. With my extensive background and the support of an amazing company in Affinity Mortgage, I am ready to handle all your mortgage needs.
I am a graduate of the University of Kansas, School of Business with a degree in Business Administration. My studies at the University of Kansas focused on Finance, Accounting and Entrepreneurship.
I am married to my college sweetheart Sara. Sara is the small business owner of her company, Simply Administrative, which focuses on helping other small business with the administrative tasks that they just don’t have the time or resources for like bookkeeping, website and social media maintenance and general administrative tasks. I also use use my wife’s experience to help support my needs at Affinity Mortgage. If you stop in any given day at Affinity you might see Sara around the office organizing databases, writing Thank You cards, or just helping out wherever she is needed!
I am also the proud father to three amazing boys! Cohen is seven and is the big brother to twin three four olds, Cameron and Jackson.
When not working at Affinity Mortgage you will find me coaching my son’s baseball team, camping, running or just relaxing with my wife on our deck sitting by our fire pit, enjoying a glass of wine.
